'Nude'

This is a beautiful piece one of my students just finished.  It is based on a black and white photo of a famous photographer, which escapes me.  Patti is very proud of this piece as I am.  It is beautifully painted in a mono- cromatic color palette.  The piece is a 24+30 oil on canvas.  It took her a few weeks to do, starting with a charcoal drawing to work out size and proportion.  Patti is now working on a fun abstract oil of an orchid, based on the artist, Tuyman.
